Biopellets

Hi all,

I've been using pellets for a year with great results, however, I recently added a little more and didn't check the reactor for a few weeks. it seems like I added a bit too much and they got stuck together. Now there is red Cyano all over the place. I'm going to clean the reactor and add the correct amount of pellets but what else should I do? I've heard horror stories of pellets clumping and then releasing bad things.
