Kessil A360
Has anyone herd any details regarding it as far as the launch, other than what they posted on their website?

picked mine up today. Kessil didn't ship the controller cables though. So no better than a 350 for now!

Got mine at the beginning of the week. Onl came with the lights and power supply. Nut used an old auxillary cord laying around the house to connect the 2 units today and now just the first one controls both. Not setting them up over the tank quiet yet though until I can sell my existing lights. All I need now is a VDM and the connection cord to hook it up to my apex.

Will one of these be enough for SPS on a Marineland 150DD (36"x36"x27")? LED lighting is new territory for me.

I have a relatively same sized tank and when I posed this question this is what I got for a response from people and from kessil. One wide will cover a lot of the tank and would be good for lower light applications. For sps 2 would be better especially if you want to pack wall to wall with sps. My tank is 36"l x 30"w x 20"t. I would highly recommend that you find a store that has either a 350 or 360 on display so you can see what this light looks like. The shimmer is the best out of all the led lights that I have seen. I have been extremely disappointed with how leds look in tanks at local fish stores. This is my opinion. And in my opinion kessil has the best product for me. I did not purchase the 350 because I could not control it with my apex. I made the stupid decision of buying another fixture, which is an awesome fixture, instead of waiting for kessil to make the controllable version. I wish that i would have waited. I'm trying to sell the fixture i bought, but if i can't sell it for a reasonable price i will just use the fixture i bought. I planned on getting two kessils for my sized tank. I would say that you will need two units and probably the narrow versions to give you more light for the sps.

I really would like to try one of these Kessils. I think I might have to set up a 60g cube just to try it out.

Fabbed up the cable and everything works! Total cost was $2 :-D
For a reef keeper, all you need is a stereo dual male 3.5mm cable. Cut off one end, strip the wires, connect the red wire to the red wire on your 2pin plug, the white wire to the red wire on the other two pin. The yellow ground to both black grounds on the two pin, and you're done. The pin on the jack is intensity. The ring is spectrum. Setup dim A and B to your liking and you're all set. Fyi, the lights will not turn on below level 10. So plan accordingly |

I just bought two for a 187g (48x30x30).
I figure I might have to add another at some point but thought I'd give this a try first just to see how well two could handle it. Tank is a new build so I really won't know how well the corals will like it until later this year. |

I ramp up and down over two hours of my light cycle for dusk to dawn. Then they run full color and intensity in between.
