cheato lighting
I am very limited on space for lighting over my fuge and wanted to know if a marineland double bright led fixture would support cheato growth?

seems like Forextrader didn't have much luck with that fixture(http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/sh....php?t=1978130) .. I've been using the picotope light. I've had my new AC300 modded fuge up for about 2 weeks and have seen my chaeto grow twice as much during that period.

I use 4 led's on a heatsink... Rapid led has a moonlight kit, I ordered the kit and replaced the blue LEDs with 2 warm white and 2 cool white. I also used 40 degree optics. It's relatively cheap ($24 without heat sink and $4 for lenses) super simple to assemble, and I grow chaeto like crazy, plus I'm only using next to nothin on power

My GF has a Marineland double bright on her tide pool type 20h (basically a show fuge) and it works fine for macro including chaeto.
