locating controllers
Easy question, I'm sure it's been asked a million times: Is it okay to locate controllers (RKL, Vortech) inside a stand, or is that considered a bad idea, due to humidity?
I used to think they looked cool and kept them outside, but I think I'd like to keep them out of sight on my new tank. Plus, it seemed like they were a magnet to any drop of water that got dripped around the outside. |

I kept them inside. Just plan the stand properly so they are not right above where the overflow enters the sump, or any other splashing water and you should be fine.
