locating controllers

Easy question, I'm sure it's been asked a million times: Is it okay to locate controllers (RKL, Vortech) inside a stand, or is that considered a bad idea, due to humidity?

I used to think they looked cool and kept them outside, but I think I'd like to keep them out of sight on my new tank. Plus, it seemed like they were a magnet to any drop of water that got dripped around the outside.

I kept them inside. Just plan the stand properly so they are not right above where the overflow enters the sump, or any other splashing water and you should be fine.

Thanks. Sounds like a plan.
