ID Please??

What is this? Looks like glass shards but rainbow colored?? Was a hitchhiker on my live rock.

Does it retract into the rock? I have a barnacle inside a piece of live rock that looks similar.

The thing under it is a fairly large vermetid snail.

That's not a large vermetid, it's a really small polychaete above it .

It's weird how suddenly you'll get a bunch of threads wanting ID on something in waves. I've seen it so many times with different hitchhikers where you get something ID'd, then a few or several other people show up asking for the same ID. It's just plain odd how it works out.
