Cupramine help
Started cupramine two days ago. Level .10 today and did second dose. Once i reach 0.5 how often do i check it with Salifert for the two weeks?

You can go lower than 0.5, a lot of folks on RC recommend 0.35. I try to check at least once a day in the beginning, sometimes as much as twice a day. Your treatment period shouldn't technically begin until you get to an effective dose, so that would be a concentration of 0.3 or greater.
Also, a lot of folks recommend a treatment period of 4 weeks, as opposed to the 10 days. The true key to beating ich is the fallow period. Your DT has to remain empty of anything that could host C. Irritans for 10 weeks - so no fish. You can take that time to get your fish eating well and preventatively treat for anything else you might be concerned with, e.g. gill flukes or internal parasites. Good luck, its such an irritating disease. |

Do you know how many drops per gallon to raise by 0.1 as needed then
