Newb w/ RO/DI unit, needing help
I bought this unit off craigslist a while back, and i can't seem to figure out how to get it running.
I believe that i have all the tubing set up right, but i can't get the water to really run through it, like it's suppose to. Any help? Here's pictures of the set-up: When i turn the water on it either runs through, or squirts out at the top, were i connect the tubing to the sink. So, i know the answer is probably going to be obvious, but any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Nick |

If I'm correct, you should have the line coming from the sink go to the far left canister then to the middle one. From the middle to the left of the RO membrane (horizontal filter on top) then you should have 2 lines coming from the right side of the RO membrane (clean water and waste water) those both go through the shut off switch (the block on top with 4 plugs on it) and the waste line then goes to a drain while the clean line goes to the DI resin (last canister on the right) and from there to your holding tank.

You have it hooked up backwards.. You need the incoming line to got to the sedimen line first, carbon second, membrane third (top what you have supply hooked to ) and DI last.. Look on BRS website they will have your model there with instructions on set up.
As for the water squirting out make sure the rubber gasket is in the sink hookup and I'm sure you know you have to turn that valve closed to use the filter( no offense at that last statement as I'm sure you already knew that )
