Single MP10 in EcoSmart Modes

For a single MP10 in one of the EcoSmart modes, does the flow match the "Same Side as Master" graph in the manual? Also, looking at the NTM graph it seems like there are periods of time where the pump would drop to no flow. Is that actually 0 flow, or is that the minimum flow? Any real advantage to using either of the EcoSmart modes vs using Reef crest mode when only 1 MP10 is used?

I run a single mp10 in NTM 24/7. The pump slows but never stops. I like the wave action so I think there is benefit to running NTM with just one pump.
