Heater and temp. probe placement
Assuming your heater is on a controller, where does everyone place their heater and temp. probe? Is the heater in the sump and the temp probe in the DT the usual way to go, or do most put both in the sump. Any particular reasons for doing or not doing either way?

The coldest section would be just before the return, so that's where mine is.

I have two heaters running off rkl. One in overflow and the other in fuge section of sump. My temp probe is in drain section of my sump. That's where the probe holder was built in my sump.
