SRO XP-3000 on a 150gal?
Anyone run an SRO XO-3000 external skimmer on a 150gal sps medium- heavy stock system?
Will it be too big?

you will be fine...I run one on my 175 that is heavily stocked and it pulls a ton of organics. I also carbon dose. I originally had an SRO 2000 and I upgraded becuase I was emptying the cup every 2-3 days. now I can go about a week before having to empty

I know you already paid for it, but I run the sro2000int on my heavily stocked 150g. I do have the skimmer waste going into a collection cup, so I don't have to empty every 2-3days.

As per Coralvue's suggestion I went with the XP2000 for my 150, time will tell when I get it stocked up.
