Jebo WP40 Hack
So, I've seen a few of the messages with people modding the power supply input to limit the voltage sent to the pump. I also speculated that there's likely a way to modify the stock controller to get it to do what we want.
I cracked the case open to take a look at what we're dealing with and it looks like a pretty standard STC12C5202AD controller. A simple search finds that the embedded eeprom should be readable and writable which would enable us to change the functions of both buttons and the potentiometers (dial). I don't have much experience in doing this, but I think it should be pretty straight forward. We'll probably have to take a look at the other components to see what the circuit is doing. Anyone else want to lend a hand with the RE effort? |
