Chiller Range

For the last year I have had my chiller set for a 1 degree range (78.0-79.0). so most of the winter it is off then as the weather gets warmer it turns on and off more frequently as the weather gets hot... always maintaining temp to within a degree...

However I was concerned that I am cycling the chiller way too much and that I can get away with a wider swing... I have an SPS dominant tank...

Suggestions?

What band chiller do you have? You can change the temp swing on a few

I have a current shiller but I use my Apex to control it. The internal sensor gets effected by the heat buildup within the sace so it is hasically unusable...
