Feeding cuc?

I just got my cuc the other day

One cleaner shrimp
3 peppermint shrimp
2 turbos
3 red legged hermits
15 smaller snails (can't remember thr name)
3 crabs (again can't think of the name)

they have been going crazy on the algaes and are fun to watch when they are not hiding (crabs)

Anyway there is still plenty of hair algae to go after but when it is gone will they survive on regrowth alone or should I be feeding them? If I should be feeding what should I put in and how often?

Also do I need to feed, the tank any more, my cycle has been complete for more than 2 weeks now.

Thanks

They are scavengers and should be fine on the food that your fish don't eat along with their waste.

Depends on if the regrowth rate of the algae is high enough. It wouldn't hurt to drop in some seaweed or a small "nug" of table shrimp every now and again. Especially since you don't plan on getting fish for a while.

Again it depends on how large/small the feedings are and what you're feeding. For the most part the snails will eat the algae, but your shrimp and crabs will also consume a meaty diet (like shredded table shrimp) or actual pellets.

If you do supplemental feedings for your CUC there's no need to add additional food for the "cycle." Just don't add any fish for a few more weeks and make you don't get a mini-cycle during that time.

If the algae is starting get a little out of control while you're doing supplemental feedings, stop them (the feedings) for a bit and let the CUC scavenge on the algea.
