Biocube 29 chemical and biological filtration

Ok I have a DIY egg crate thing that has 4 7 inch racks and I am wondering how I should setup my filtration I am already putting LRR and chemi pure elite on the lower rack that will be in the water and later some chaeto when I get a light, on the rack above the rack that the chemi pure elite will be at ( will be out of the water) I am going to put purigen, one question should purigen be under water or not?, then I have 2 racks above the supposed purigen rack can I put any more filtration and then the top rack of corse will be filter floss. Thanks and let me know! I just added water and new sand after taking everything out and scrubbing the rock and what not so its been running with just some filter floss in it right now for about 15 hours now.
