Ro/di gpd real world estimates

Hey are people getting the output from their ro/di that the manufacturer suggest. For example i have a 75gpd with a extra 75gpd water saver upgrade kit.

But i dont even think im getting 75gpd. Let alone 150gpd

On my Spectrapure 100 GPD high efficiency RODI, I have an adjustment to set the output vs waste ratio. I don't bother to measure my daily output capability but I have it adjusted so that there is more waste than good water in an effort to help my cartrdiges last longer. My unit is capable of a 1:1 ration of waste vs 0 TDS water. Depending on your RODI, you may have similar adjustability.

I dont. Just wondering if people get 75 gallons a day from their 75 gallon unit. Some people tell me they only get half the amount. Is that the norm?

How old is your membrane? The older it gets the less good water is produced IME.

I have the Typhoon III from Air, Water, Ice. It puts out about three gallons per hour, so yes, 75GPD or very very close.

My 90 Gpd gets closer to 100 with cold water on my booster pump. (My tap's pressure was too low)

Manufacturer's membrane gpd ratings are based on a certain water pressure, temperature & incoming TDS. If your supply water temperature, pressure or TDS deviates from that norm, your output will vary accordingly.
