Fish list, any problems here?

im currently looking to stock my 220. tank has been running for about 9 weeks now. only have 4 small damsels in there.. this is the list im thinking so far...

already have 4 yellow tail damsels
may get either a pair of azure damsels or Fiji damsels
midus blenny
forktail blenny
royal grama
flame angel
coral beauty angel
pair of zebra gobies
yellow head sleeper goby
and a pair of uniqe clowns

then in a few months ill add some wrasse then eventually around xmas time ill add some tangs. but I figured the list Ive shown are all small active fish that will stay small. they will have minimal impact on bioload considering I have 220g with a 125g sump. any body see any problems here

Royal grammas and damsels are aggressive. Even in that size tank you might have problems when you add the wrasses (I'm assuming fairy or flasher). The only other possible problem might be from the angels. Not sure what size tank you'd need to keep two pygmys.

ive had royal grammas, coral beautys, flames, melenarus wrasse all in a 125g for many yrs together. so im not worried about it to much with them. as far as the damsels. yes I know there aggressive, but more toward their own kind more then other fish. and besides damsels are already in there so no fishing them out now lol...

but why would damsels bother wrasse?

Fairy wrasses and flasher wrasses are wimpy and tend to be picked on by any other semi aggressive or aggressive fish.

I agree with people here.. Damsel fishes are mean! And once you put them in its ridiculously hard to get them out same as royal gamma. But yeah those type of fish you should stay away as once they get bigger they tend to be the boss of the tank and bully other fishes as well as ur fingers or hand when you reach into your tank haha. Usually getting reef safe fishes are the way to go but some would still be bullies as well.

I have two yellowtail damsels that will chase the flasher wrasses and chromis away if they get to close to "their space" but don't bother anything else. These are considered to be the least aggressive of the damsels but if I were you I would stay away from any other damsel or you're asking for trouble. Other then that I think you would be fine. I don't quite understand the problem people have with the royal gramma, everything I have read says they are very peaceful. The bicolor dottyback is aggressive and looks almost identical to the gramma so maybe they're getting confused? I don't know. A fish I have that I really like is the Orchid Dottyback. They are one of the least aggressive of the dottybacks, are stunningly beautiful, and are readily available as tank bred on live aquaria (on sale now for $36.99).

I was thinking the same thing. I have owned a couple and have never seen much aggression. Never heard about it before either.

Google "royal gramma aggressive" and you'll find plenty of cases. Territorial might be a better description, but it still causes stress for the other weaker fish.

like stated the 4 yellowtail are already in the system. with about 275lbs of live rock in the 220. removing them isn't an option right now lol...but I will take into consideration about adding other damsels tho...I figured these fish are small and active also. so if there is a lil dust up at first, plenty of rock work for them to escape or call their own. especially when I start adding bigger fish that roam the whole tank...

I always understood damsels are a no no per say. but Ive always liked their color. and seen many tanks with them in there. so after rebuilding after the hurricane I wanted to have fish I never had before, so 4 yellow tail damsels went in lol.....
