Ideal Combination of Lights?
I have a 5.5 gallon (10 inches deep, 16x8in top) and am looking to have some low-light sps hopefully, and was looking at this light which I'm told should be sufficient.
http://www.petsandponds.com/en/aquar...p17693590.html There are three variants of the light: 6700k daylight, 460nm actinic blue, 400nm black light (not sure what a black light is, can somebody help me out on this too?) All three lights are 3 watt LEDs, I'm just wondering what would an ideal combination of these three types of lights be? I'm looking to purchase at most 5. |

Low light sps?
400nm is the starting point of Ultra Violet (UV) light. From 400nm down to about 360nm (no too sure because nobody has UV leds below 400nm).

I've heard that some sps like certain montipora don't require really high intensity lighting

Check out CREE PAR38 LED bulbs, I just bought one that has 8 royal blue 450 ~ 460 and 4 10k warm white. All the LED's are also 3 watt and the blue should really make the colors pop.

Found this on ebay, seems decent but there is not much information on the LEDs other than colour and wattage. What do you guys think?
