JNS Cone S Protein Skimmer

Does anyone know when these will be available? The new design features look real cool. There's even a handle for the cup too..

Quick video..

Reefing is'nt how long you been in it. It is how deep you get in it.

Current Tank Info: 400g display build, 300g sump, 75g ATO, 75g refug and a few more. Close to a 1000g. 200g mixing station.

JNS are imported exclusively by AquaMaxx, and rebranded as such. I have been sending emails and corresponding with AquaMaxx about their availability issues. More of us needs to do so, as they are top notch performers.

Those little cones are cool as they should calm things down tremendously in the reaction chamber

yes! Little wine glass skimmers. May be a little more cleaning but looks to be a great design. I'll bet there's almost no turbulence at the A/W line.

I feel for the guy who picks up the skimmer by the handle to watch in horror as the skimmer falls to the ground.

Hi together

We're using (here in switzerland) the ConeS skimmers already for over a month and we've to say, We've never seen such a good and quiet skimmer so far on the market! We're running the CO-3 (biggest model) in a 1000 gallon tank and he's taking more out than a bubble king, even he's just for 550gallon tanks!

Marcel

What model would the CO-3 be. Is that the same as EM series?

Hi ksed

The CO-3 is the biggest and for 550 Gallon. The CO-2 ist the middle one and for 350 Gallon and the CO-1 is the smallest for 200 Gallon. The CO-1 ist the only one who has feet (instead of a bottom plate) and the pump is under the skimmer and not next to it.

I don't really now what you mean with your question. But I would say it's not the same like the EM series. It's more like the Cone Series. Go to the manufacterer site www.jnsaquaria.com and have a look. I don't know, but I guess the EM series is not from the same manufacterer.

Marcel

I wonder how much of this skimmers performance is do to that bubble plate design vs. overall good good body design. I'd like to see this skimmer with a more traditional BP compared to the mini cone style BP

No, it would be the same as the SK-3. You can see that HERE

The EM series are the JNS "U" series. HERE is where you can see the "EM/U" series
