DIY Stand a little wobbly...Shimming ok?
This is probably a stupid question, but I hate to have to rebuild my stand due
to a little warped 2x4. The stand is solid as heck, but has a little wobble if you put on one corner. When you push on that corner it's level/perfect... Is it ok to just shim under the stand a call it a day? I've never done it, but have had enlevel tanks lol.

It's okay if the top of the stand is level. Use wood shims.

That depends if the problem is a wobbly stand, or a solid stand that needs a shim to correct an uneven floor or short leg.

If your stand is as solid as you say. shimming should not be a issue.

It's seems like it would hold a Mac truck just one corner isn't perfectly flat on be ground. It could also be my concrete floor in the shop. Here's a pic.

put it where it is going to stay and see if it wobbles, concrete is never level! like mentioned above if the stand wobbles rebuild if the whole stand wobbles because of the flooring then shim, you only need to shim the vertical supports not the entire bottom.

Shim between the stand and the floor not the stand and the tank.

Thanks for the pics Jon and info SGT.
Hacks me off that it didn't just turn out good, but I guess that's to be expected on a deal like this. John, are those just door type shims? Do you think sitting on carpet it will level out better than concrete? It'll be sitting on carpet.
