Rlss r8-I vs ro diablo xs225?

Im looking to change out my asm g1x for either the rlss r8i or ro diablo xs225 and wanted to know which one you guys would choose and why.
The reason for the change is two fold...
1. I havent been happy with the asm from day one. It either over flows or doesnt pull skimmate.
2. Im considering doing vodka dosing due to h.a. problem. Ive been unsuccessful at lowering n below 10ppm (salifert) and p below 0.30 (salifert). Believe me ive tried everything from rowaphos to biopellets. I ran rowaphos from day 1 infact.
Any input would be appreciated,
Thanks

The r8 IMHO. Build quality, total silence, better design, better output design, no micro bubbles and looks. Just an all around better unit.

I would get the DCS-200int. And later on you could add a neck extensions to the skimmer to get even better performance. That's if you have a tall stand like I have. You can't do that with the Rlss r8-I.

Get the right skimmer the first time, and you won't have to resort to gimmicks to get it to skim properly. Skimmers have come a long way, and there are many brands out there right now that make most skimmers obsolete. JMHO.
