Talking Plate coral feeding

I got a new plate coral two days ago and I've tried to feed it but i don't know if its eating or not. Also how do i know if its polyps are extended.

there is also a picture attached if that helps.

Could it still be stressed from Traveling ive only had it in my care for 24 hours or is it too small, I'm new to coral keeping so anything helps

Agree tentacles not extended yet. Yours looks healthy but the pic lacks detail. It takes some time for them to adapt to a new tank IME. Sometimes several days or
Even longer so be patient.

Try turning your pumps off, drop some mysis or similar meaty food on the plate. Wait & observe for a while & fend off hermits & shrimp. Tentacles are short & spikey & will appear and move the food to he mouth which will open in the center.

How do I know if my plate coral is dieing? It has one spot on the edge that is white and Im worried ,how can I reverse this process?

just leave them be they will extend their tentacles once acclimated i got two which were saves now fully coloured up with nice tentacle extensions.
