Is Hot Glue Safe
I was wondering if hot glue was safe in a saltwater environment. I am not gluing frags or rocks, just a stick of glue put inside to help control a true union ball chack valve on a return line
valve like this: http://flexpvc.com/cart/agora.cgi?pr...eckValves_Ball dont want the flow to overpower the ball and seal off the line while I am not around the tank |

Tell me about it. So much equipment, so much info, and so much changes. Old hard rules don't apply, other old rules that may or may not be true any more starts all out fights with people.

Don't have a clue if it's safe or not, but I've used it in my tank on many occassions years ago. I never encountered any issues.

It is very safe as I have a load of it in my reef and have for years. It is not really glue, just melted plastic, I use it all the time.
