Weird mucus strands on my live rock
I'm cycling my first reef tank using live rock from an Established tank. The live rock has these very small red immobile tube worms on them that are releasing mucus strands. Anyone have any idea what they are?

Vermitid Snails - they are sessile and harmless, but their "webs" they use for feeding can be unsightly and a pain. I have a few in my tank too. No worries.

I hate these things and have been unsuccessful at ridding my tank of them. I spend about 20 minutes a week trying to kill them. The multiply like roaches.
