Hello all, I've noticed this evening that my file fish has gone from a brown and tan color to pale. What may be causing this? Water levels are good and I'm not sure why he would be stressed if that's what it is.

is he eating? I had a fish a while back that wasn't eating and turned pale-ish grey.

Will feed and observe in the am! Did your fish die?

Mine used to change colors a lot. Sometimes it would just go lighter in the evening. After I had mine for over a year, I would go from brownish to green and back.
