Ok I added rock to my tank today. How long should I wait to test water. Any signs of ammonia, I should do a water change correct?

Wait about a week to test the water. If the rock has alot of life I like to change water before it get's too toxic.

I used Prime to cycle/cure LR, kept almost everything alive. You just have to dose every 2-3 days. Lost a couple of sponges, but I put that on being exposed to air for too long.
