old wet live rock for cycle?

I was planning on setting up my 75g tank quicker when I moved, but that didn't happen. I have about 100lbs of LR that has been wet but not circulated for 3 months. Is there harm is using this rock as is for the cycle? I'm sorta figuring the die off of anaerobic bacteria will give the bio-load. I'm in no rush with they system, and hope to make a grow-out tank with the system.

It is fine to use. You may need to add a dead shrimp or other ammonia source to kick off the cycle.

The best time to use it would be now. No shrimp needed , though your old rock would act like one.
