How to remove xenias
My xenias have grown like crazy and now I need to prune them. Should I just try my best to scrape the base w a knife? Do I need to worry about it releasing lots of slime? Any tips would be appreciated.

scraping them off with a razor blade and having a net close by will work. mine grew back but very slowly, actually kind of neat to watch them come back, I'll just scrape them again one day.

I used to take the rock out , scrape them off with a razor, and put kalk the rock. Those things are the weeds of saltwater.

Scraping and then covering with rubble. Then next time they will just grow over the rubble and that is easy to remove to sell/trade and continue to replace the rubble.

All the mentioned above will work....it just depends on if you want them to sell back to the LFS or you just want them gone.
