If you sent me a PM.

I don't know where to put this, just want to give the courtesy of a reply to some folks.

Somehow, I deleted a few recent PMs. If you're waiting for a reply from me, please re-send. If you don't stumble across this post, you'll have a long wait.

Dear Mr Fish,

This creates quite the conundrum for me. I know I have sent out a few PM's of late, but I normally clear them to keep the dreaded "unconfirmed PM" line from appearing at the top of my PM listing. Also considering I have been on this planet well over half a century, my memory isn't what it used to be. I can't really remember if I sent you one or not. This is one of those things that happen as you get older. I also can't imagine what the question would have been, for the same reason. Though I do know if I did PM you, your reply would have been eloquent and precise.

On a side note, if you think of a reason I may hay PM'd you, please fell free to PM me and let me know. Since I can't remember why I started this post, here's a pic for you.

I can't even remember why I posted anything. Funny, after I hit 65 several months ago, I notice forgetting little things and my kids don't hesitate to remind me. I use the defense that my brain is full of so many incredible facts that when something comes in, something has to leave to make room for it.

I do some volunteer stuff at a local nursing home and am considered a real trouble maker because I help some folks with some legal issues. I try not to cross the line to real advocacy, but many of these folks think they have lost all of their rights. The number of adult kids that have coerced their family into these places should be criminal.
Much of it is, but its tough to prove and many of these people really need to be in the nursing homes. Some of the involuntary commitment orders could be reversed when the ungrateful little bastards saw the word "disinherited". Whatever the answer, it needs more attention. If anyone has a little free time, this is a sad, but rewarding way to spend it. The number of nursing home residents who never see a relative is disgusting. Not hard to tell where we spent a couple of hours over breakfast today.

What does this mean. I have one and I do not know why it is unconfirmed.

Truly a sorry state of affairs. I remember when my MIL was in a home after a major surgery, I would stop by after work everyday. In short order I ended up visiting all of her neighbors as well.
