Help! Meanwell LDD not reacting to PWM signal
OK, I am at the end of my wits with this thing...
I have an DIY LED setup I got from Steve's LED's. I am powering 72 luxeon LED's split over 5 Meanwell LDD-HW drivers. 4-1000ma (2 driving 16 ea RB, 1 driving 16 5k white, and 1 driving 9 TV) and 1-700ma (driving 4 OCW arrays of 3 each plus an extra 3 CB). The drivers are powered by a 48v 7.2a 360w power supply, and the pwm signal is supplied by a Steve's LED's Controller converting the 0-10v VDM signal from my Apex. I have measured the correct outputs from my apex with a multimeter and done the same with the pwm outputs from the Steve's controller (The pwm outputs are slightly more than half the corresponding voltage from the apex). I have also double and triple checked my apex programming. The LDD drivers are running full-out. They DO NOT DIM based on the pwm input. What am I missing here? Thanks for any and all help. |

Meanwell
Thanks. I will post over on DIY.
the OCW is OK. I get some disco on the cyan. If I were to do it over again I would have gotten the 3up OCW from LED Group Buy. J. |
