Flow for a 20 gal. long frag tank

Do you think 1 mp10 would be enough flow for a 20l=gal. long frag tank. probably be bout 500gph flow from return also. any help much appreciated.

You will already have 25 turns of flow with just your return pump. So you are right at the edge of enough flow for almost any sps already. Why drop big bucks on an MP10 for a frag tank? You need waves in a frag tank? Will it help with growing out your frags? Just put in a small powerhead where ever you need the extra flow (if anywhere). Now if you were talking a DT, I'd say go for it, but a frag tank? IMHO you are just wasting money.

I agree. That'd be excessive for that size frag tank
