Circulation pumps with Jebao 40
I just purchased a Jebao wp-40 and will be using it in my 90 gallon mixed reef. I currently have 3 powerheads in there now, 1@900 gph, 2@700 gph. My 90 has a corner overflow. Will i need to use any of the powerheads or will the Jebao be enough to get the debris back to the overflow? Where would you position the powerheads if needed??
Thanks for the help in advance. |

I had one on a 75. It could cause a severe sand storm if I ran it full blast. I sold it for a 25.

I am more worried about the debris in the water column being moved to the overflow for removal. Will the wavemaker be able to do all the work or will a powerhead be needed to push the debris close to the overflow?

If you are getting the wp40 just to make a wave then you will need another pump for circulation.

I have a WP-40 in a 90G Mixed Reef and am unable to run it on full, or it really ****es off my LPS's! I run it at 18V on W1
