AI Director Beta - Who got picked? Lets talk 'Director'!

This just came though to my email from AI. They've started their selection, who else got the same?

"You've been selected!
Congratulations, you've been chosen to participate in the beta program for our Director control platform.

If you're still interested in participating, here are the nitty gritty details:
· The price will be $99 shipped within the US. Those outside the US will have to wait a bit longer.
(If you have a spare 5W-10W USB power adapter, and you're outside the US, please contact us)

· Only one Director per beta user.

· We will be shipping in waves; some testers may receive their Director sooner than others. Shipping will begin at the end of the month.

· This first phase of the beta is for the web interface only. iOS and Android mobile apps will follow shortly after.

· Bug and issue support/tracking will be done through our Support Ticket system only. Call-in support will not be supported initially, as our engineering team will be responding to beta related support requests.

· Most importantly, you'll be receiving a beta product; there will be bugs that pop up. We have worked tirelessly to work most of the kinks out, but user feedback is far better then us developing in a vacuum.

· We will push updates to your Director as needed. To do this, you'll need to have the Director connected to the Internet.
We're confident you'll be pleased with the end product. It's been a long time in the making, and we're pretty proud of the results.

They gave you a discount code for free shipping? Total should have been $99.99.

I ordered mine immediately. It said its first come first serve and when they run out you're out of luck!

yea just ordered mine with the free shipping. code is "dirbeta". Sure hope this thing works as advertised and that we are in fact getting a discount (from standard msrp?) for testing this thing out at our expense while the bugs get worked out.

I hope the software has a few more features that the screen shots they show. I also hope the apps for android and iOS aren't too far away.

I had thought it was supposed to retail for $99.99. I think our discount is the free shipping.

I would guess they went out to everyone who signed up for the beta. I got an email and I only signed up 2 days ago.

I signed up using 3 email accounts. 2 of mine and one of my finances. 2 of the 3 got Betas. One didn't get a response. So not everyone is getting them.

Will not be soon. Read the email above. Why would they not mention this in the original email before people paid. The expectations from this company given to its customers is awful. Very poor planning.

Idk. Seems they made it clear it wouldn't ship immediately. It is beta testing. Delays should be expected.

I got the same email, and I am fine waiting a bit longer as it indicates they are correcting more issues prior to our testing.
