New 54 Gallon Corner Reef Tank project
Hi everyone, thought I would introduce myself. Been in the salt water game for many years but was house constrained for the past 4 years. Now I have a bigger home and was able to upgrade to a reef tank again. Ended up getting this tank setup from a fellow reefer off Craigslist. He had done some great modifications that I was able to take advantage of. Below are the details and some pics... looking forward to a fun tank to play with going forward. David
54 Gallon AGA corner tank with stand Reef Octopus Skimmer Custom acrylic sump fitted to stand (3 main chambers) Reactor with Phosban Ranco controlled heater 3 power heads Custom LED light fixture (Coralife housing) with Typhoon controller Still stocking it up with some coral frags from Keith's Corals and Neptune Aquatics here in San Jose. The new dry bulk rock from Reef Rocks I am seeding with my established live rock from my old tank. On to some pics... |

Great looking tank
I can see a tomato clownfish. Are you planning any additional fish?If so the clownfish may give them a hard time.

That's an awesome sump for a corner tank, ideal to get the most use of the limited space in the stand. How many gallons?
More and more corner tanks popping up..............time to give the corner club thread a bump. Last edited by myram; 09/28/2014 at 06:46 AM. |
