Expensive Food?
This morning as I fed my anemone scraps of fish I saved while preparing my dinner last night, I realized how silly I felt feeding it something that cost me $25/lb (mahi). Then I thought about it, and I realized that I pay $40/lb for PE mysis at my LFS! Even worse, nori costs $60/lb! (from TLF, unsure about asian food market prices) At least my NLS pellets only cost $23/lb. Rather disheartening knowing that I can get fresh wild caught fish like snapper, mahi, drum, trout, flounder, etc for less than I can get my fish food. I may just start going to the docks and buying gulf shrimp, crabs, and oysters directly from the cajuns and make my own frozen food.

If you live near the coast go to a local fish market and get a seafood medley mix. Very cheap and the variety is good for the fish.
