Best way to Removing dead shells?

I believe I have a pile of dead bodies from snails that did not make the trip from reefkeepers since they haven't moved.

What is the best way to remove them or be sure they ARE the dead ones?

Any tips or suggestions?

Dead snails smell. They smell BAD. Just pick them up and toss them out.

I have enough LR to handle the ammonia, so I just left them to be eaten by other critters.

Hermit crabs will eat them almost minutes of them dying

Lol yeah what he said. I've never even seen a dead snail last long enough to create ammonia. Hell, I think my cuc probably finishes them off before they're even totally dead. A truely dead snail not only smells putrid, but also will droop reaction less out of its shell. Every live snail I've picked up will pull tight into its shell...except nassarius. Those flip and flail around till you let them go. Kinda creeps me out.
