Fluval LED Lights

I am trying to find some led lights for my 55 gallon, 48in. Looking around and I found these lights on clearance.

Could the 36in. version be enough to light my tank?

For a fish only tank it would be fine, but it will not support corals, it just isn't bright enough.

So it will cover all areas of the tank?

That will be fine for softies, mushrooms and feathers.

For that price, you could get a decent quad T5 fixture that will support more corals.

I'm not trying to grow corals, all I want to know is will these lights, the 36in. version, cover a tank that is 48in. long. The tank is a fowlr.

When I had a fluval edge the leds went out no less than 3 times, every time no problem getting a warranty replacement sent but it got old fairly quickly. Always started where I would notice one or two out and it would snowball from there, some would always stay on though...

According to that site, the PDF at the bottom and the chart at the bottom say this....so I would venture to say yes, it will fit a 48" tank.

13572 36” – 48” (91 cm – 122 cm) 102 1950 25 W
