Hi, I posted a new thread here yesterday and I no longer see it. If it was deleted, why was it deleted and if not deleted, where was it moved to?

If you scroll to the bottom of the page, you will see an option for "show threads". The default is "from the last day", so the forum will not show you a thread that hasn't been posted to in the last 24 hours unless you change this option.

It just moves down the list if nobody is posting on it to bump it back to the top as the default option. You can search for your threads as well in case you weren't aware.
