pearly jawfish
I saw some pearly jawfishes at the LFS. The heads have pale yellow color. Some of the pictures I saw on the web have a really yellow heads. I'm wondering if the yellow color will become more intense as the fish mature or if they are from different regions and the color will not change? Also, will they eventually eat pellet and flake food? Thanks.

I would not think it will color up. I would wait and find one that is brighter yellow.

The ones from Florida are brighter than the ones from the Caribbean IME.
