Need help with skimmer super small foot print
Hey,
I need some help with finding a super small skimmer for a proflex sump model 1. no hang on the back mods. the only thing that fit so far was a corallife ss 65 and i put it on external. it's honestly garbage. my tank is a 60 gallon marineland cube. I'll post pics. in the last compartment I have a mag 7 return and a cobalt pump attatched to my phsoban reactor. External is fine but it needs to be able to reach over the side and rest the pump in the last chamber. I don't want to risk drilling the sump. in sump is prefered. I was looking at the PSK-100 strictly for size reasons not price. also I'm worried about the water level in the sump. please help if you can 999183_10151767176491005_1868382213_n.jpg 1001728_10151768663601005_244191197_n.jpg |

I just looked at that skimmer. It looks a lot better. do you have any expirience with it? also would it be acceptable to place that skimmer in the last chamber where the water level isn't always the same? if so it looks perfect

the middle chamber is 4 ¾" x 9 7/8" and that skimmer is 4 ¾" x 4 ¾" do you think it would fit? or no go. if it's ok to go in the last chamber then we're in buisness

Will it fit though? The measurements are the same as the width of the middle chamber. I'm afraid it will be slightly off

A constant level would be recommended though. I would say it will fit in the 4 3/4 space because while it is 4 3/4 at its widest, the widest part is at the base where the skimmer seats. there are 6 little asthetic ridges that can be easily filed off which will give you an extra 1/4+ inches. It can fit!!!!!
