Talking Setting up tank

Hello I'm about to start cycling my new marine system I'm about to put the live rock in. I have a list of what I'm putting into the tank and I just want people to let me know if I'm doing anything wrong. So it's a 75 gallon tank.
I want to add:
2 ocellaris clowns.
Watchman goby and pistol shrimp pair
Pencil urchin
Devils hand coral
Eagle eye polyp
And some sort of anenome

Also is there anything else people could suggest for my tank coral, invertebrate or fish.
Will this live stock go together well.
What order should I add them in?
I know I shouldn't add most corals for at least a year
I was hoping to also have a tang if my tank is big enough.
If so what tang can I have.

I'm open to constructive criticism. Cheers.

Sounds like your off to the right track and welcome !

I just cycled my 120 a month ago, and started off with. Pair of ocellaris clowns for my starter fish

I would recommend getting your clowns in QT now, so when your main tank is fully cycled, which will happen more quickly since your using live rock, the clowns are ready to go in

You'll want to keep the water between the QT and Main tank parameters as close as possible

Good luck !

Thank you, i've been doing heaps of research before starting because I didn't want too much to go wrong. how long do you think I need to wait before putting any corals into the tank?

I think you'll seen most would agree 6 months for the water chemistry to stabilize, before adding coral. None of my friends wait this long, and have success.

You shouldn't have to wait a year for most corals although the anenome will enjoy a more mature tank. A 75 is large enough for some species of tangs but not all. There's a sticky on surgeon fishes that gives recommended sizes. Your plan for patience is a good plan and I think you're off to a good start.
