How long does it take anemones to settle in?
I just got my first reef tank set up and I got two anemones a carpet anemone and a Haitian Anemone, the carpet is just laying on the bottom and the Haitian is moving all around, it got stuck on the power head and I had to move it, now it's just laying on the bottom as well moving its tentacles around also my carpet anenome has a small live rock stuck to it and a urchin right touching it will my urchin be okay and will my carpet let go of the rock, and the big question is will the anemones settle on the live rocks eventually?

How longs the tank been set up? what kind of lighting are you using? When you say carpet what kind? there are several. Some stay in rocks some stay in the sand bed. Most importantly cover the powerhead with something so that the nem can't get back into it, you will have chopped nem if you don't

Haitians will keep moving around on you. and the carpet may or may not let go of the rock that's all up to what type it is some carpets live on rocks and some in sand. as for the urchin it should move away from the nems
