AquaticLife 1W LED Expandable Marine Fixtures

Anyone heard anything good about these? Would like to only buy one, 48 watt version, fixture and be able to grow some powere light stuff. maybe even a mini maxi carpet anemone. Note: this is for my 55 FOWLR and not for my reef. Just want some basic opinions.

Waaaay overpriced.

For not much more you can get a 3 Watt Fixture.

It is 2013 I do not know why they even make 1 Watt Fixtures.

That was like 2008.

Wow, I just looked at it again.

561.49 for only 72 Watts

Meanwhile you can get a 160 Watt Razor for 519.00

So you get Double the Light for less money and it is adjustable.

The More Expensive Aquatic Life is just On / Off.

Very Very silly to get that LED.

Only thing worse is the Marineland Reef "NOT" Capable. LOL.

I have the 48" AquaticLife 1W on my FOWLR and generally like it. It was considerably cheaper than other options at the time, and looks decent. No idea on how it'd fare with coral, though. Here's a shot of my tank with them on:

You can get the 48w version for around $260, and the 72w for $400. No idea where that other dude was getting prices from, but I'd probably avoid due to jacking up the price.

The biggest drawback, IMO, is the inability to dim the lights.

I would skip the Ocean Revive and go with ReefBreeders. Logan will stand behind his product, assist you in any way he can and helps to support this site. He has proven time and time again that there is value in buying from someone who isn't just out to make a buck.
