New Set Up 120 gal FOWLR

hello,

right now im planning to build a 150 gal FOWLR tank, the tank and stand was on finishing process. there are some question i'd like to ask, here it is:
  • i'm plan to build a korralenwelt like tank background, but using white cemen rather than korralen product, i know it will raise pH on the water, and the qusetion is, can it swing down during nitrogen cycle? and what can i do to maintain pH water to its normal level after the cycle done.
  • beside high level of pH, are there other risk to use this white cemen as a tank background?

that's all, any suggestion are very welcome.

Note:

sorry for bad english.

If I understand correctly, you want to make it with Cement. If your using cement you need to cure the rock in a separate container for a 3-4 months in fresh water with weekly water changes to prevent the pH changes in the reef tank.

No, not with cement. If your looking for something a little faster, do a search for LR walls joined with insulation foam, I thinking curing for those is only around 3-4 weeks.
