AI Hydra Screw Size

Hi All,
Looking for some info on the AI Hydra screw size. I purchased a used AI Hydra but it looks like its missing the mounting screws.

Does anyone know the size of the screw?

Thanks in advance.

Yea, they are 10-32 x 1 inch. You can get them at Lowes. Just make sure you screw them in finger tight and when you feel resistance, STOP.

They are not meant to be torqued down hard at all.

When I mounted my 2 Vega colored fixtures inside my open top canopy, I decided to use 10-32 stainless steel rods to hang these fixtures. The end result was quite good, since the Vega's seems to be floating above the tank.

Thanks,
Randy

Thanks for the great advice. I'm definitely one of those that have the tendency to over tighten.
