What hydor pump!
Hello again,
You are all probably tired of hearing about my 46 bowfront project lol so I will try to keep it brief. I have most of my order hashed out but I am stuck on the circ pump. I picked hydor koralia evo but don't know if I need the 600 or 800 gph model. What would be the best choice here and why? Thanks, Bill

I would go with two of the 800 models. IMO, the GPH for these pumps is not really up to par so to say. I would much rather error on the side of having too much flow than not enough.

What type of tank are you planning on, fish only, soft corals or SPS corals? I would recommend two pumps for better cross/random flow. For a fish only tank I would use two 440 GPH nanos, for soft corals two 600's and for SPS two 800's

I'm running two 1150gph in my 46 bow. May be a little bit of overkill.

I will start fowlr but eventually will add some soft and or basic hard corals. Are there pumps that don't stay stationary, one that maybe goes back and forth?
