Do you hear any "Clicking"?

Did it look like a regular peppermint shrimp shape wise?

Did it look like a lobster?

Did it look like a mantis?

etc..

try to catch it. Find out where it lives, lure it out with food, and try to catch it.

Sexy shrimp live in corals. I doubt that you would find one hitchhiking.. still possible tho and worth a try.

Any picture or video really makes the difference if you can atleast obtain one of either.

The reason it gets out of the way when ever a fish come by it is because they are natural food for the fish. Most fish will eat them. But they are harmless and good to have in your tank they eat algae and are food so its a win win to have them.

i'm not a fan of them. sometimes they can eat coral. specially when big. they're not the end of the world though. they can multiply rapidly

I believe dragonets eat them along with copepods.

They are not a favorite but almost everyone has them. I actually had 4 of them come out of a single orange kunckle hermit crab's shell when I got it... At the time I thought they were baby mantis shrimp.
