Refugium help please

hello and thank u for looking at my post. i need a little help please. i am setting up a 55 gallon long tank and going to be buying the aqueon proflex model 2. does anyone no where i can get one cheap and i also need the light fixture also for the refugium. can u buy them both together or do u have to buy them seperate. i also have 2-T5's that came with the tank. should i use those lights for live rock and corals or no. thanks for the help.

You might want to try and post in the lighting section. There are guys that roam around in there that know lots and lots about lighting and fixtures.

I have a proflex model 1, and I run a 6500k cfl light over it, (Compact fluorescent light) it didn't come with it but you can buy the light and light fixture cheap at home depot or lowes. Best to buy one online, save you 40-50$ then buying it at yoru local lfs,

what kind of t5, 2x 10,000k or 1 10,000k 1actinic?

what shagin said. Lighting section lurkers will probobly have 100 links to DIY it for half of LFS price.
