Is This Cyano?
I bought a frag of blue sympodium a couple weeks back and it has these green polyps growing on it too.
Between the sympodium and the polyps is a reddish brown waxy feeling substance. I broke the rock between the polyps and sympodium to separate them. When I did that, a piece of this stuff came off. It feels flexible, but not slimy. slmost like soft wax. I thought maybe it was glue holding the sympodium to the rock, but somebody told me it looks like cyano? |
