Help me pick a tank size!
So I have decided to tear down my 40 breeder setup to make room for a larger reef tank. I have 2 main reasons for wanting to do this, 1 more room for a awesome aquascape 2 more room for larger fish (kole yellow eye tang) 3 biger is always better right? I've been thinking abt a couple diffrent size tanks one being a standard 4ft 120g the other being a 110 xwide tank 36x30x22. I am open to suggestions for other tanks but dnt want anything over 4ft long 24 inches tall and anything less than 24 inches deep.

If you want a Kole tang you should get a minimum of 4' in length.

You should check out the dsa neo rimless 105 gallon. 48.5l x 24.5w x 21h. I am setting mine up.

I'm not familiar with this dimensioned tank. Though I have seen the 150 gallon "tall" several times and if you're going for large in the 4 foot length, I'd suggest that one. It's 48 long, 24 wide and 30 tall, so it's 6 inches higher than the 120. It's a fantanstic tank in my opinion, especially for swimming fish. But the 120 is great too and is one of the most popular because folks with shorter arms can get in there easier. Dave |

I just found a great deal on a 120g with a bunch of live rock and equipment so that will be the way I'm going. Il be starting a build tread in the next couple weeks to document everything and get some more advice from everyone.
