what is this???

So my son brings home a new chunk of LR the other day. We noticed just now what looks like 4 tentacles coming out of a hole, up to an inch long. They look almost segmented, or brown and white striped. Could this be some sort of starfish??
Sorry, unable to get a pic to show you, I'll try later.
Thanks
BJ

He's not eaten--they hide like mad. Live under rocks. You can catch them coming out at night.

+1. also, check your other compartments. i have 2 in my 29g. one of them comes out every time i put food in the tank. the other one travels from the pump compartment to the dt. back and forth all the time. i never know where i 'm gonna find him.
